New York's Wi-Fi Kiosks being used to browse pornography

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the developers behind New York City’s public Wi-Fi kiosks are suspending the devices’ web-browsing capabilities in response to criticism that some users were monopolizing the feature. Some residents and community leaders complained that some people use the kiosks for extended periods, including to watch hourslong movies. Reports have emerged, acknowledged by LinkNYC, of people using them to look at pornography.
